HTET Exam 2021 | HTET Exam Syllabus

HTET Exam 2021 notification has been released by the BSEH. The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) application form 2021 has been released along with the official notification on November 15.

Eligible candidates can apply online now by visiting the official website of the exam. The last date to submit the HTET application form is November 25.

The BSEH will open the online application correction window on November 26.

The HTET exam will be held for PRT, PGT and TGT levels on December 18 and 19, 2021.

What is HTET?

HTET or Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test, conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Haryana (BSEH), is an eligibility test for teachers.

HTET is held for different levels including the Primary Teacher (PRT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT).

The exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates as PRT/ TGT/ PGT teachers in schools run by Haryana State Government.

After qualifying the test, candidates receive the TET certificate which is now valid for lifetime.

Candidates can apply for the teacher vacancies in the state after obtaining an HTET certificate.

The HTET Exam application form 2021 has been released by the BSEH on November 15.

Candidates can apply online for the HTET exam by following the steps mentioned below:

  • Visit the official website of the exam – haryanatet.in
  • Click on ‘Registration/ Login’
  • Click on ‘Apply Now’ and proceed
  • Select the HTET exam level – PRT/ PGT/ TGT
  • Fill the registration form
  • Upload scanned pictures of photograph, signature and thumb impression
  • Pay the application fee through internet banking/ debit card/ credit card
  • Submit the form and take a printout

 HTET Eligibility Criteria 2021 

Candidates need to fulfill the HTET eligibility criteria in order to apply for the exam.

Educational qualification:

  • Level 1 (PRT for Classes 1 to 5): Class 12 pass with at least 50 per cent marks along with Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed)
  • Level 2 (TGT for Class 6 to 8): Bachelor’s Degree with D.EI.Ed or BEd
  • Level 3 (PGT for above Class 8):Master’s Degree along with BEd

Age: Candidates between 18 to 38 years of age can apply for HTET 2021 exam.

HTET Exam 2021 Selection Process

HTET selection process involves the stages mentioned below: 

HTET application form: Candidates willing to appear for the HTET exam need to first apply for the exam online.

To fill the form, candidates need to make selection of the level of exam such as PRT/ PGT/ TGT.

HTET admit card: HTET admit card is released around ten days before the exam. The admit card is released separately for level 1, 2 and 3 papers on the official website of HTET exam. 

HTET exam: HTET exam comprises three papers, Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3. Level 1 is for Primary Teachers (Classes 1 to 5), Level 2 is for TGT (Classes 6 to 8) and Level 3 is for PGT (Class 9 to 12).

After analyzing the objections, the BSEH releases the final answer key. 

HTET Exam Result 2021

The HTET result is released on the basis of the final answer key. The result is released along with the Iris Bio-metric verification center list.
